How long have you been in business?

We Teach Swimming (WETS) is a private swim school for children that offers learn to swim programs using achievable progressions based on the Red Cross Swim Levels. Why did you start the business?

Everyone should know how to swim and we wanted to make sure that it was a easy as possible for everyone to do that. We try to accommodate families so that family members can be in the same class or back to back classes. We developed a method that all Instructors follow to make sure there is consistency and less confusion for the students and faster learning for the swimmer. And we love children!

Tell us why all parents need to visit your store or purchase your product/service?

With only 4 students per class, our semi private lessons feature small class sizes providing more individual attention so that your child gets personalized instruction in sync with their personality and strengths to help them learn how to float, swim and play safely when they are in, on or around water.

The WETS teaching method is not a linear program based on levels. It is a results-driven and progressive approach that’s the sum total of over 60 years of combining best practices + innovative thinking with the Red Cross Swim levels + Water Safety curriculum at its core. It’s a proven formula for making learning to swim correctly a fun and rewarding experience for children and an effective way for parents to ensure their children are water safe for life.

Describe a feature product or promotion you have going on (or coming up)?

In Swim By 5, students begin by discovering how to float and use their survival instincts so that they greatly improve their ability to save themselves in a time of need. Step by step they learn proper body positioning as they increase their self-confidence and independence in the water. Building on a strong core foundation, students develop endurance and strong strokes. The pinnacle of our Swim By 5 program is for children to swim front crawl by 5.
