EVENT DATE: September 27, 2015
LOCATION: Parkinson Rec Centre
TIME: 10 am to 2 pm

TICKETS: Adult: $5.00 ; Kids 12 and under are free!  Partial Admission proceeds to benefit the Bridge Youth & Family Services in Kelowna.

We have partnered with the Kids Closet Cleanout which will be taking place in the room across the hallway from the Pregnant & Fabulous.  This will give families an opportunity to attend both events for one admission price.

Ticket preregistration is available now! The preregistration prize is a Guzzie & Guss stroller valued at $399.00.  They can preregister and when they buy their ticket on Sunday they will get a ballot for the stroller. Please promote this link to your email list and Facebook followers:

Vendor Booth Information

Please fill out your vendor form HERE.  This is the form will give us all the information for the day of the event, including your show special, information for the program, etc.

You can see the floor plan HERE. It will be first come first serve for booth selection. (We may have to modify slightly if we don’t have enough vendors to fill it up- which means more room for you!) You will have an option to provide three choices, we will do our best to give you the first or second choice whenever possible.  If you have not selected a booth by September 22, 2015, we will select a booth for you. (if you have already selected- you don’t have to do it again)

If you require power please advise on the form.  There may be an extra charge billed by Showtime.

There will be limited access to WIFI.  So if you anticipate that you will need the internet, please bring your personal hotspot or cell phone with 3G so that you can access the internet.

There is no cash machine on site, so please make sure that you have cash or debit/credit options available.  It is also good to promote this to your potential customers.

Vendor Setup Information

We have arranged for Showtime to set up the booth spaces on Sunday morning. Vendors can start to bring in their products and set up on September 27, 2015 from 8:00 am to 10:00 am. The event will commence at 10 am sharp! Please be ready to go at that time.

The tear down time will be 2 pm. Please do not tear down your booth before that time.  You will have approximately 2 hours to take down your booth.

Lunch & Snack Orders

Surf Side California (Tacos) and Scooters Ice Cream will have their trucks on site for the event.  As a vendor you will have an opportunity to order a lunch from Surf Side California.  Please fill out the order form and give it to Surf Side California with your payment when you arrive for set up.  Make sure your booth number & name is on the form.  We will bring the lunch to your booth around noon-12:30.  Find the lunch order form HERE

How to Attract and WOW your potential customers at the show:

Be creative! Here are some ideas on how to create the best vendor booth:

-creatively decorated display-quality giveaway
-interactive booth (kids activity, adult activity, website display, etc.)
-great show special

As a vendor you will be listed  program/map that will be available for the attendees on the day of the event.

If you wish to contribute a blog article in your field of expertise, please email it to Jen at  The article should be between 250-400 words with one or two pictures.

Recognition at the Event

During the event, Ryan Watters may be coming around with a video camera to do a short video interview of some of the booths/tables for our promotional video.  It will be an opportunity for you to talk about your business, promotions and what you think of the Pregnant and Fabulous Fair.  We will be using those videos on our website, social media, and promotion for this (and future) events.

Our MC will be talking over the microphone, directing attendees to your booth, so be sure to let us know what you are promoting when you fill out your Vendor Form.

Swag Bags

As a vendor you have an opportunity to put a coupon or sample in our swag bags (100). We like to have coupons and samples of products for the moms to try.  We promote this as one of the benefits of attending our show-they get swag bags with useful stuff inside.

This is a great opportunity for you to market you business to a captivating audience.  Be creative!  Business cards and paper flyers simply get thrown away.  Therefore, we ask that you put something unique and of value (such as a coupon, deep discount, or a sample) in the swag bag so that your efforts (and marketing dollars) are not wasted!

If you would like to take part in this opportunity you must have the your swag bag item prepared and delivered to 5086 Windsong Crescent OR Downtown at 287 Bernard Ave (Att: Ryan) by September 24, 2015.

Your Promotional Opportunities:

We respect and value that you have different ways of communicating with your parent community. So, feel free to publicize the event (and your participation) in a way that feels congruent and aligned with your style and brand. Our request is simply that you do share proudly (and loudly if you’re up for it!). ;)

Here are a few suggestions:

  • Write a blog post sharing the event, your show special, our entertainment, prizes, etc.
  • Send out a solo email blast about the event
  • Put a blurb in your newsletter
  • Put the Event badge  in your newsletter or on your site
  • Tweet about the event, your participation, and ticket link
  • Post on Facebook about your event, participation, ticket link, etc.
  • Tell your friends and clients about the event
  • Email the postcard/poster to your contacts
  • Interview Jen or Ryan about the event to include on your blog, newsletter, etc.
  • Share the ticket link and website on other social media pages
  • Share your business feature on your website, social media, newsletter, etc.
  • Do a contest with your free tickets (just email us the winners names so we can put them on the list) and don’t forget to let us know what you are doing so we can promote your giveaway as well!!
  • And any other creative ideas you may have…
